Working Bee
Please join with us for our pre-Easter working bee. We will be planting new trees and there'll be something to do for everyone, indoors and out. It should be a fun morning together. Morning tea provided.

‘God of Hope’ Recording
Be a part of a live recording of ‘God of Hope’ at St George’s Anglican Church, composed by Michael Dooley with the words of the HOPE25 Collect. This recording aspires to have an authentic and energetic congregational feel and will be shared with churches across Australia for the HOPE25 season. After the recording, please stay and enjoy a pizza dinner together (at no cost).

Maundy Thursday Dinner and Service
Please join with us for our traditional St Peter's Maundy Thursday dinner and service! We will have a roast dinner and dessert together in the hall at 5:30pm, followed by a service in the church at 7:30pm. $15 per person or $40 per family.

Good Friday Service
Please join with the St Peter’s family at 9:30am for our Good Friday service. There will be a program for the kids.

Easter Sunday Services
Please join with the St Peter’s family for our Easter Sunday Services.
At 8:30am, we will have our traditional Anglican prayer book service.
At 10:30am, we will have an all ages service, with a kids’ program.

CMS Canberra Mission Focus
CMS Canberra Mission Focus is an annual event organised by CMS to encourage local supporters to engage wholeheartedly in God’s mission. Former CMS missionary and current Vice Principal at Moore College, Simon Gillham, will be speaking on Philippians 1 and 2.

All-In Prayer Night
All members of St Peter’s are invited to come together and pray for revival in our church, our region and our world. Silent partners in prayer welcome.

Annual General Meeting
Our annual business meeting for church members. A chance to review the past year and look ahead to where we are going.

SU ACT Discovering Life Dinner
The Discovering Life dinner is a chance to celebrate what God has been doing in the ACT & Southern NSW through Scripture Union. Dinner will be provided at no cost, but please come prepared to make a donation to support Scripture Union.

South Canberra Prayer Morning
This HOPE25 prayer gathering is an opportunity to join in prayer with Christians from churches across southern Canberra.


Service for the Commissioning of Andy Gordon
St Peter’s is hosting the commissioning service of Andy Gordon, as foundation principal of Stromlo Forest Anglican College.

Play n Chat
Play n Chat is a place for 0-5 year olds and the people who care for them. Play n Chat meets weekly on Thursdays during the school term, 9:30am–11am. Term 1 2025 begins 13 February and finishes 3 April. Please contact us before coming as places are limited, or for more information.

Sing the Gospel
Come along to St Matt’s, Wanniassa, for a night of encouraging one another through the singing of Gospel-rich songs and reflections on Scripture. Special guest Michael Morrow will be sharing some songs from his upcoming album ‘Nothing in My Hands’.

Launch Day Combined Service
On Sunday 2 February, both congregations will come together as we hold our first combined service of 2025 and rekindle our ministries for the new year.

Christmas Day Service
Please join with us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, at our Christmas Day Service.

Christmas Eve Service
You are invited to join us on Christmas Eve for a traditional service of Carols, Candles and Communion.

Carols on the Lawn
Join us for some Christmas fun on the lawn at St Peter’s. There will be a BBQ and kids’ activities from 5:30pm, with a carols sing-a-long from 6:30pm. Bring your friends and a picnic.

Combined Service
An opportunity to gather as a whole church, as both congregations of St Peter’s meet together. A collection of non-perishable food items will be taken for our mission partners St John’s Care on the day.

Meet Jesus Canberra
Come and hear Evangelist Dave Jensen preaching about the difference Jesus makes. The night will include music from the EMU music team and the opportunity to follow up your questions about Jesus.

St John's Care Food Collection
Our mission partner, St John's Care, assists people in need in the Canberra region. Volunteers are needed to collect food for the St John's pantry at Curtin Shops next month.

BCA Connect Canberra
Hear firsthand from staff at Bush Church Aid about how God is working across rural, regional and remote NSW/ACT and beyond. Our mission partners, Ben and Alissa Connelly, will be there.

CEIS + SU Celebration
All Christian Education in Schools (CEIS) and Scripture Union (SU) supporters and volunteers are invited to join together for an evening of thanksgiving, information, and prayer.
CEIS will soon join SU Australia to enhance the work of making Jesus known to students in government schools in the ACT. This celebration event is an opportunity to give thanks, reflect and look forward to all that God will do through this shared mission in the ACT and beyond.

Vision Sunday + BBQ Lunch
Our annual Commitment Series, kicked off by Vision Sunday, is nearly here. This year, our two congregations will meet at our regular times (8:30am and 10:30am). This will help us think about how our Growing Wholehearted Disciples vision applies uniquely to each congregation.

Canberra Women's Christian Convention
Canberra Women's Christian Convention is on again this September, and this year’s theme is Woven by the Word. Join with other Christian women in Canberra and hear from keynote speaker Dani Treweek as she speaks on 1 & 2 Thessalonians and explores the unchanging power of God's word.

Joy for Jos Concert
Come along for a night of live music and raise funds for our mission partner, the Diocese of Jos. Canberran musicians Rachel McNally, Mike Dooley and others will perform songs from their new gospel album, and there will be supper available. All profits from ticket sales and the night will go to the Zambiri School, for orphans and displaced children in Jos, Nigeria.

Diocesan Mission Gathering
Next year between Easter and Pentecost, Anglicans across Australia will be joining together with Hope25: an intentional season of sharing hope in Jesus. On Saturday 17 August, hear from Australian-born evangelist Glen Scrivener about how the good news of Jesus connects with our deepest needs and how we can participate in Hope25.
